Our water comes from one of the rivers that make the Haina River (named after the Taínos) abundant in its middle basin, the Básima River in the Dominican Republic.

The Básima River is a tributary of the Haina River, which was cataloged by Oviedo as "the one with the best water of any river that exists on the entire island and is one of the best of all and most profitable due to its fertility."
